Freedom H. Weekes
Freedom H. Weekes is a preacher, teacher, author, and media professional whose work lives at the intersection of faith, history, and storytelling. Born and raised in New Rochelle, NY, he was shaped by the rich traditions of the Black Church and has served across Pentecostal, Baptist, and Methodist denominations. His voice is bold yet grounded, speaking to a generation hungry for spiritual truth and historical clarity.
Freedom writes from lived experience, biblical conviction, and cultural awareness—reaching those who’ve felt overlooked or disillusioned by religion. His debut release, Christianity Was Never the White Man’s Religion, is a bold and necessary reclaiming of Christianity’s African roots, written to dismantle false narratives and restore historical truth to a misunderstood faith.
Whether through writing, speaking, or creative media, Freedom is committed to helping others discover their voice, their calling, and the deeper truths that set us free.
This book dismantles the lie that Christianity is a European religion and traces the African presence throughout Scripture and church history. It’s biblical. It’s historical. It’s time.
